First Christian Church to hold rummage sale on Saturday
First Christian Church of Breckenridge, 101 E. Williams St., will hold a rummage sale from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 6. Cathy Curry said this is the first rummage sale the church has held in several years and the money raised from the sale will be used to pay for repairs to the building.
There will be variety of items that were donated for sale, including dishes, household items, books, clothes and other items. All items for sale are displayed on tables located in the basement of the church.
Curry said to get into the sale, customers will need to go through the north door of the church that is located on East Williams Street, across from the back of First National Bank. Also, because of road construction on South Breckenridge Avenue (U.S. Highway 183), she said, visitors will need to turn on to East Williams from South Baylor Avenue to reach the entrance of the church.
