Breckenridge High School celebrates Constitution Week

The Breckenridge High School FFA and the local chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution teamed up Tuesday morning, Sept. 18, to provide a Constitution Week presentation for students and faculty in Bailey Auditorium.

FFA officers presented the American flag, with Vice President Zach Smith leading the way (pictured above). Then, FFA President Madi Warren read aloud the Preamble to the U.S. Constitution, and the Breckenridge High School band played the National Anthem.

Constitution Week activities continue Wednesday, Sept. 19, with a presentation by the fifth graders at South Elementary at 10:30 a.m. in the cafeteria/auditorium. This week, Sept. 17-23, was declared Constitution Week in Breckenridge by proclamation of Mayor Bob Sims.

The Breckenridge High School band plays the National Anthem while the FFA officers salute the flag during a Constitution Week presentation Tuesday morning, Sept. 18.
