Billie Sue was the second of five children born to Luther and Della Latimer, their only daughter. The Latimer family moved often in the oilfield business, mostly within Texas. Billie Sue was active in band and theater in school. She graduated from Albany High School and married Malcom E Offield in 1950. They moved many times before moving from Ranger to Euless where they raised their four children. They “semi-retired” to Breckenridge in 1979 where Billie Sue was active in The Breckenridge Garden Club as President and Breck on Stage where she acted in and directed several plays. She loved hats, history, and was an avid reader of books that transported her around the world. She was a friend to many and a faithful Christian. She cherished her family and was lovingly called “Two-Mama” by her grandkids.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her two brothers, L. Duane and Gerald Latimer, and her daughter, Stephanie Sue Moldenhauer.

Survivors include her husband of 67 years, Malcom Earl Offield; son, Malcom Duane Offield (Jenny) of Garland; daughters, Catherine Delores Hinojoza (Henry) of Grapevine and Melissa Maxine Burda (Joe) of Longview; son-in-law, Keith Moldenhauer of Granbury; 9 grandchildren, Shannon Burgan, Scott Burgan, Rebecca Burgan, Steven Offield, Rachel King, Julie Offield, Ryan Hinojoza, Joseph Burda III, Meagan Burda; 11 great-grandchildren, Adam Felan, Cassidy Burgan, Jacob Felan, Taylor Burgan, Braden Burgan, Autumn Burgan, Jerry Burgan, Avery Burgan, Claire Offield, Clark Offield, and Ava King; brothers, Donald Latimer (Dolores) and Ronald Latimer (Joyce); along with numerous nieces and nephews.
