Anita Keifer
Anita Keifer, 70, passed away Sunday. August 26, 2018. Funeral service with Rev. Rex Boggs and Paula Payne officiating will be held on Friday, August 31, 2018, at 2 p.m. in the Melton-Kitchens Funeral Home Chapel of Memories. Interment will follow in the Breckenridge Cemetery under the direction of Melton-Kitchens Funeral Home.
Anita Rhea Brown was born on November 21, 1947, in San Antonio, Texas, to W.C. “Sarge” Brown and Junior Staggs Brown. She graduated from Central High School in Omaha, Nebraska, in 1965 and attended Enterprise State Junior College in Enterprise, Alabama. She worked at the local trailer house factory, #1 Trophies and Team Sports, was a ward clerk at Stephens Memorial Hospital, and was a receptionist at the Cliffs Resort. Anita was a Baptist.
Survivors include her daughters, Krystal Hash and husband Chuck of Breckenridge and Karisa Iness and husband R.J. of Odessa; son, Kory Keifer and wife Rane of Weatherford; and 12 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Steven Brown.
