Judy Culpepper Cowan
Breckenridge-Judy Culpepper Cowan 69, died Saturday, July 14, in Abilene. Graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, July 20, at the Hart Cemetery in Breckenridge. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 6-7 p.m. Arrangements are under the direction of Melton-Kitchens Funeral Home.
Judy was born on November 16, 1948, in Breckenridge, Texas, to Kenneth and Twilla Culpepper. Judy was the Parts Manager at Carsten’s Motors for many years.
Mrs. Cowan enjoyed painting, crochet and barbed wire sculptures in her spare time.
She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Garrett and husband Duane of Fort Worth; sons, Randy Jones and wife Tracy of Granbury, Mark Wheeler and wife Marian of Lawton, Oklahoma, Jimmy Stultz and wife Amber of Bessie, and John Ryals and wife Denise of Springtown, Texas; and sisters, Pat Roberts of Burleson, Betty Baxter of Arlington, Peggy Kimbrell of Sweetwater and Janey Jordan of Everman.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Clyde Wheeler; and brother Jack Culpepper.
