Saturday, July 21
Children’s Theater Camp Presentation
The local children participating in the Missoula Children’s Theatre summer camp this week will perform “Gulliver’s Travels” on Saturday, July 21, at the National Theatre, 116 E. Walker St. There will be two performances, one at 3 p.m. and one at 5:30 p.m. Tickets to the event will cost $5 each. The event will be open to the public. Art Show Reception
The Breckenridge Fine Arts Center will host a reception for the 27th annual Juried Art Show from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, July 21, at the fine arts center, 207 N. Breckenridge Ave. For more details on the art show, click here to read the Breckenridge Texan article.

Breck Trade Days
Breck Trade Days will take place Saturday, July 21, just south of the Breckenridge City Park. The monthly event features vendors selling a variety of items. Parking and admittance are free.

July 22-25
FUMC Vacation Bible School
First United Methodist Church of Breckenridge will host Vacation Bible School from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Sunday, July 22, through Tuesday, July 23, at the church, 419 W. Walker. The last evening of VBS will be held from 7:45 to 9:45 p.m. at the city pool. The theme of the VBS is “Rolling River Rampage,” and it is for kids in grades kindergarten through sixth. Monday, July 23
Kids Pottery Class
The Stephens County Extension office will offer a Pottery Class for kids in grades 2-12 from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.Monday, July 23, at the Extension office, 2622 Highway 180 East (at the intersection of State Highway 67 and U.S. Highway 180). The fee for the class will be $35 per student, and the class is limited to 15 kids. Attendees will need to take a sack lunch. For more information or to register, call Sumer Russell at 254-559-2313.

TSTC Registration Rally
Texas State Technical College will host a Registration Rally from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday, July 24, in Room 103 in the Breckenridge Center at 307 N. Breckenridge Ave. Visitors can take campus tours and learn about the technical programs offered at TSTC in Breckenridge. For more details, click here to read the full article.

Thursday, July 26
Family Swim Night
The Breckenridge City Pool will host its final Family Swim Night of the summer from 7:45 to 9:45 p.m. Thursday, July 26. The entry fee will be $1.25 per person for everyone over the age of 3. Conservation Meeting
The USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service in Texas’ Stephens and Shackelford counties and the Lower Clear Fork of the Brazos Soil and Water Conservation District will host the FY19 Local Working Group meeting at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, July 26, at the Breckenridge Interbank Coffee Room, 301 W. Kids Terrarium Class

Thursday, Aug. 2
New Student Registration at East Elementary
On Thursday, Aug. 2, Breckenridge’s East Elementary School will have general enrollment for new students only. The registration will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the school, 1310 E.
