March 25-29
Holy Week Services
Local churches will host Holy Week Services March 25-29 at the Stephens County Courthouse. Each service will begin at noon. On Monday, March 25, Steve Spoon with The Real Church will speak; March 26, Will Anderson with Lighthouse Church; March 27, Samantha Chambers, First Methodist Church; March 28, Sonny McCauley, First Christian; March 28, Fr. Donald Sackett, St. Andrews.

Saturday, March 30
Easter Egg Hunt
New Destination Church will host a city-wide Easter Egg Hunt at 11 a.m. March 30 in the Breckenridge City Park.

Easter Egg Hunt
On Saturday, March 30, the Buffalo RV Park-KOA Campground, 2833 W. Walker St., will host an Easter Egg Hunt. The organizers are planning a visit from the Easter Bunny, an Easter Egg Hunt, Easter crafts and more.

Saturday, April 6
Plant Sale
The Stephens County 4-H will host a plant sale beginning at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 6, at the 4-H greenhouse, located at 2622 U.S. Highway 180 East (at the intersection of U.S. 180 and State Highway 67). The organizers advise to get there early…they sold out in two hours last year.

Artists’ Reception
The Breckenridge Fine Arts Center will host a reception for the artists featured in the current exhibit, Yesterday’s Toils Art Today’s Treasures,”  at 2 p.m. April 6 at the BFAC, 207 N. Breckenridge Ave.

Saturday, April 6
Free Movie
The National Theatre of Breckenridge, 116 E. Walker St., will host a free movie screening at 7 p.m. Saturday, April 6. The movie will be “The Boys in the Boat,” a sports drama about the 1936 University of Washington rowing team that competed for gold at the Summer Olympics in Berlin. The movie will be free, but you might want to bring some money for snacks from the concession stand.

Wednesday, April 17
Art Gallery Night at East Elementary
Breckenridge’s East Elementary School will host Art Gallery Night from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 17.

Saturday, April 20Casino NightThe Breckenridge Fine Arts Center will host its annual fundraising Casino Night on Saturday, April 20 More details to come.

Friday, April 26
Concert: Brett Taylor & Friends
Closing out the National Theatre of Breckenridge’s 2023-24 Performance Series will be Brett Taylor, along with some songwriting friends from Nashville. Taylor is a Texas native who has lived in Tennessee for the past 10 years. The show will consist of a 45-minute set of Taylor and his friends performing original music “in-the-round.” And then, after intermission, Taylor will take the stage with his full band, playing a mix of original songs and a few covers. Doors will open at 6 p.m. with the concert beginning at 7 p.m.

May 3-4Frontier DaysThe Breckenridge Chamber of Commerce will host the annual Frontier Days event on May 3-4. More details to come.

Friday, May 24Breckenridge High School GraduationThe Breckenridge Breckenridge High School Class of 2024 will have its graduation ceremony on Friday, May 24. More details to come.

May 25-26Breckenridge AirshowThe Breckenridge Airshow is returning this year and is scheduled for Memorial Day Weekend, May 25-26, at the Stephens County Airport. More details to come.
