Darla Elliott Deck, 59, passed from this life on Thursday, June 21, 2018, in Breckenridge, Texas. Memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 14, 2018, at 6 p.m., at the Melton-Kitchens funeral home chapel in Breckenridge, Texas. Arrangements are under the direction of Melton-Kitchens Funeral Home.
Darla was born on February 3, 1959, in Brownwood, Texas, to Bobby and Patricia Elliott. Darla worked as a furniture builder. She was very talented with her hands at building multiple things, including crafts of all kinds.
Darla is survived by husband, Joseph G. Deck, of Fort Worth; mother; Patricia Burnett of Eastland, Texas; sons, Joseph E. Deck of Arlington and Paul W. Killingsworth, Jr. of Fort Worth; sisters, Carla Green of Breckenridge and Marla Craig of Coleman, Texas; brother, Bert Ray Elliott of Cisco, Texas; and three grandchildren.
Darla was preceded in death by her father, Bobby J. Elliott, Sr., and brother, Bobby J. Elliott, Jr.
