Ginger Cole, age 73 of Breckenridge, passed away Sunday, June 3, 2018. Graveside funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, June 7, in the Breckenridge Cemetery with Rev. Mike Spencer officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of Morehart Mortuary. Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, June 6, at Morehart Mortuary.

Virginia Irene Luttrell was born August 24, 1944, in Seminole, Texas, to Homer Luttrell and Irene Clark Luttrell. She graduated from Seminole High School and was a bookkeeper and a homemaker. On January 24, 1972, Ginger married Glendon Ray Cole in Greenville. Ginger was a member of the Church of Breckenridge. She enjoyed quilting, doing word puzzles, collecting antiques, listening to music and dancing. She was preceded in death by her parents, Homer and Irene Luttrell; her husband Ray Cole; one daughter, Shari Cole; and two sisters, Nelda Houston and Bobbie Cravens.

Ginger is survived by her six children, Gary Cole and wife Alice of Katy, Linda Griffith and husband Ricky of Lockney, Danny Cole of Brenham, Tracy Cole and wife Shelly of Eunice, New Mexico, David Cole and wife Debbie of Midland, and Greg Cole and wife Debi of Fluvanna; one brother, Dale Luttrell and wife Janet of Denton; one sister, Kathy Lajiness and husband Jerry of Fairbanks, Alaska; thirteen grandchildren, Brian Griffith, Glen Cole, Jeff Griffith, Brent Cole, Lauren Vickers, Chad Cole, Ashley Hobbs, Corey Cole, Christy Cole, Mitchell Cole, Hope Cole, Dalton Cole, Kyle Cole; and numerous great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
