The Breckenridge Fine Arts Center has issued a call for quilts for its upcoming 2018 Quilt Show, scheduled for May 8 through June 29.

BFAC Director Victoria MacFarlane said the Quilt Show is held every two years. In 2016, there were 49 quilts entered in the show, filling up both exhibit rooms at the BFAC and the hallway.

Quilts to be entered in this year’s show may be delivered to the BFAC, at 207 N. Breckenridge Ave., beginning Tuesday, April 17, through Tuesday, April 24. The entry forms for the quilt show are available at the BFAC or via email by sending a request to info@breckenridgefineart.org. Those entering quilts are asked to have the quilts sleeved for hanging, if possible.

Each quilt will be entered into one of six categories: Antique, Applique, Embroidery, Youth/Miniature, Pieced and Other. Both machined or hand-pieced quilts will be accepted.

A panel of three judges will award ribbons to the winners in each category.

For more information, call the BFAC at 254-559-6602.
