Library book sale scheduled for Saturday morning

It’s springtime in Breckenridge — flowers are blooming, the wind is blowing and books are on sale at the library.

The Breckenridge Library Spring Book Sale will take place from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 14, at the library, 209 N. Breckenridge Ave. Book sale patrons should enter through the back door of the library.

The sale prices will be:

  • Hardback books — $1 each or $6 per bag
  • Paperback books — 25-cents each or $3 per bag
  • Magazines — 25-cents each, six for $1 or $4 per bag
  • DVDs, CD books, music CDs — $2 each
  • Cemetery books — $5 each
  • Puzzles — $1 each

Additionally, some collectible books are available for special prices.

All paid political ads will be clearly marked with the statement “Political ad paid for by (Name of Person Paying for Ad),” as required by the Texas Elections Law.
