Brenda Ann Ledbetter passed from this life to the next on Friday, March 9, 2018, in Petrolia. Funeral service with Rick Earp officiating will be held on Saturday, March 17, 2018, at 11 a.m. in the Melton-Kitchens Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Breckenridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 6 to 7 p.m. Arrangements are under the direction of Melton-Kitchens Funeral Home.

Brenda Ann Chaney was born on March 23, 1951, in Breckenridge to Herman Ferrer Chaney and Anna Faye Grimes Chaney. She worked for the City of Breckenridge as a meter reader before her retirement. Brenda was Pentecostal.

Survivors include a daughter, Teresa Faulkner and husband Kevin of Petrolia; sons, Glen Ledbetter and wife Pam, Matthew Ledbetter, and Mark Campbell, all of Breckenridge; sister, Diana Campbell of Breckenridge; brother, James Chaney and wife Betty of Clyde, uncle, Jesse Chaney and wife Judy of Austin; 12 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Joseph “Joe” Ledbetter; and sisters, Doris Fay Hight, Carolyn Kay Folsom, Mary Elizabeth Chaney, and Margie Patricia Bunch.
