Gary Castillo made Breckenridge his home over 35 years ago. He worked throughout his life as a skilled floor specialist, laying carpet and tile for manufactured homes.

Gary was a simple man and he enjoyed simple things. From being outdoors camping and fishing to preparing the best BBQ chicken at family cookouts. He loves to cook and had a pretty good green thumb for gardening. Gary had a kind and loving heart when it came to animals. He opened his home to many and loved them all dearly.

Gary was born on June 5, 1951, to Perfecto and Sara Castillo. He was the fourth child born of seven. He had five brothers and one sister. As a youngster, Gary was known for being a class clown and is fondly remembered that way still. He loved to make people laugh.

Saturday March 10, at the age of 66, he was reunited with his parents, his brother Manuel Castillo and sister Virginia Castillo.

Gary was known and loved by many and will be remembered as a neighbor, friend, brother and beloved uncle.

Funeral arrangements are pending. A memorial fund has been set up by the family. Any and all donations are greatly appreciated.
