April 23-28
City-Wide Cleanup
City of Breckenridge residents can have extra trash and bulky items, including yard waste, picked up the week of April 23-27. Additionally, the city’s Convenience Station will be open extra hours April 23-28 for Breckenridge residents to take their bulky trash items at no charge. Quilt Show Entries Due
The Breckenridge Fine Arts Center will accept quilt entries for the 2018 Quilt Show through Tuesday, April 24. at the BFAC, at 207 N. Breckenridge Ave. For more details, click here for the Breckenridge Texan article.

Sunday, April 29
Urban Pioneers
The Ridge Cowboy Church will host the Urban Pioneers band at 10 a.m. Sunday, April 29. The performance will be free and open to the public. The Ridge Cowboy Church is temporarily meeting at the National Theatre, 

May 4-5
Stephens County Frontier Days
The annual Stephens County Frontier Days has been scheduled for Friday and Saturday, May 4 and 5, in the Breckenridge City Park. The event will include a Chuck Wagon Cookoff and other events. More details to come.

Tuesday, May 8
Quilt Show Opens
The Breckenridge Fine Arts Center’s 2018 Quilt Show will open May 8 and continue through June 29. The BFAC is located at 207 N. Breckenridge Ave. and is open to the public. For more information, click here to read the Breckenridge Texan article.

Keno Fundraiser for Museum 
The Swenson Memorial Museum will host a Keno Night fundraiser beginning at 6:30 p.m.Tuesday, May 8, at the Woman’s Forum, 1804 W. Walker St. Tickets cost $25 per person and are available at the museum, 116 W. Walker St., and the Chamber of Commerce, 100 E. Elm St. Seating is limited. Heavy hors d’oeuvres will be served. For more information, call 254-559-8471.

Friday, May 25
BHS Graduation
The Breckenridge High School Class of 2018 will graduate at 7 p.m. Friday, May 25. The ceremony will be held in the BHS Athletic Facility (aka the “new gym”).

May 26-27
Breckenridge Airshow
The 21st Breckenridge Airshow will take place May 26-27 at the Stephens County Airport. For more information, visit the website www.breckenridgeairshow.com.
