Monday, June 15
Missoula Children’s Theatre Camp
The Friends of Historic Breckenridge and the National Theatre of Breckenridge will host auditions for the country-western musical “Beauty Lou and the Country Beast” on June 15 starting at 9:45 a.m. Open to children who have completed kindergarten through 12th grade, the weeklong camp costs $50 per child and includes a workshop week at 116 E. Walker St. ahead of a June 20 performance. Click here for more details.

Monday, June 22
Art Masters Summer Camp
The Breckenridge Fine Arts Center will host a four-day Georgia O’Keeffe-inspired art camp from June 22–25 for new and returning young artists. Led by instructor Doylene Land, daily sessions run from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for grades 1–2 and 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. for grades 3–5. Registration is $80 per student and classes are limited to 10 participants. Click here for more details.

Wednesday, July 1
The Creature Teacher at Breckenridge Library
The Breckenridge Library will host the return of The Creature Teacher for two special summer showings on July 1. This event is part of the library’s broader seasonal lineup, which also features the annual summer reading program held at 2 p.m. on Tuesdays through July 14. Click here for more details.

Saturday, July 4
Boomfest
The Breckenridge Chamber of Commerce will host Boomfest Independence Day celebration and fireworks show from 5 to 10 p.m. Saturday, July 4, at Corley’s Landing, near the swimming area at Hubbard Creek Lake. The fireworks show  will begin at dark. There will be live music, food vendors, and activities for all ages. More information to come.

Wednesday, July 8
Dinosaur Valley State Park Library Programs
Dinosaur Valley State Park will present two educational programs at the Breckenridge Library on July 8. Children can enjoy a dinosaur-related storytime and activities at 3 p.m., followed by an evening session for adults focused on dinosaurs and fossils at 5 p.m. Click here for more details.
