Douglas D. Stewart

Douglas D. Stewart, 59, died Tuesday, February 27, in Eastland County. Funeral service with Dannie Lee officiating will be held on Wednesday, March 7, at 2 p.m. at the Melton-Kitchens Chapel. Burial to follow at the Crystal Falls Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Melton-Kitchens Funeral Home.

Douglas was born on June 1, 1958, in rural Kansas to Dee Stewart and Mary Stouard-Stewart. Douglas served his country in the United States Army, as a soldier. In any spare time away from working at the ranch, he adored and loved his grandkids and great grandkids.

He is survived by his step son, Travis Poteet, and step-daughter, Leann Boggs, both of Graham. Doug also had three brothers: Sonny of Crystal Falls, Sam of Clyde and Randy Stewart of Crystal Falls. He was preceded in death by his parents and a precious great-granddaughter Lillie Meeks.
