Tonight’s PTO Bunco event to raise funds for schools
A chance to win $1,000 cash, as well as more prizes, will be on the table tonight, Thursday, March 1, when the Breckenridge Elementary PTO hosts a fundraising Bunco Night.
The event will be at the First Baptist Church Family Life Center, in the 300 block of West Hullum Street. The doors will open at 5 p.m., and the games will start at 6 p.m. Tickets cost $25 each and will be available at the door. Tables of 12 will be sold for the discounted price of $240 ($20 per ticket).
Bunco is a dice game, similar to Yahtzee. For the fundraiser, participants will play for prizes and/or tickets for drawings. The event also will include several raffle drawings.
The funds raised will be used by each of the elementary schools for items such as playground equipment at East Elementary, classroom supplies at North and Chromebooks at South.
