Bobby Bittle, age 59 of Breckenridge, passed away Tuesday, January 30, 2018. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, February 3, at Morehart Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Melinda Lane officiating. Services have been entrusted to Morehart Mortuary.

Robert Eugene Bittle was born on December 22, 1958, to parents Charles Ray Bittle and Martha Sue Yearout Bittle in Lamesa, Texas. He attended schools in Hobbs, New Mexico. In 1985, Bobby married Helen Carroll in Plains, Texas. He worked as a service tech in the oilfield for Edge Manufacturing. Bobby enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Martha Bittle; one brother, Joe Bittle; and one granddaughter, Dana Rhoades.

Bobby is survived by his wife, Helen Bittle; two children, Johnny Rhoades, Jr., of Weatherford and Sheila Buck and husband Timothy of Springtown; five siblings, Jimmy Bittle and wife Mary of Breckenridge, Johnny Bittle and wife Bettie of Midway, Georgia, Marihelen Neely of Breckenridge, Chuck Bittle of Hobbs, New Mexico, Rena Bittle of Breckenridge; one grandchild, Riley Rhoades and wife Leslie of Denver City; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to the Shriners Hospitals for Children and may be left at Morehart Mortuary. Condolences may be made online at www.morehartmortuary.net.
