Breckenridge trash service to be delayed a day during holiday week

The Breckenridge trash pick up will be one day behind for the week of Christmas all week. According to the City of Breckenridge’s Convenience Station, Republic Services will work Saturday, Dec. 30, to have everyone caught up.
Additionally, as of Oct. 20, 2017, Republic Services changed the schedule for bulk pick up. The next bulk pick up day will be in January for the northwest section of town. Residents are asked to not put bulk items at the curb more than three days in advance of their pick up day.
Upcoming bulk pick up dates are:
- For the northwest section of the city (north of Walker Street and west of Breckenridge Avenue): Jan.19, April 20, July 20 and Oct. 19.
- For the southwest section of the city (south of Walker Street and west of Breckenridge Avenue): Feb.16, May 18, Aug. 17 and Nov. 16.
- For the east section (north and south of Walker Street and east of Breckenridge Avenue): March 16, June 15, Sept. 21 and Dec. 21.
Republic Services will pick up three bulk items per residential unit per quarter.
