The Breckenridge Police Department won first place, as well as the People’s Choice Award, in the Breck Trade Days Chili Cook-off on Saturday, Dec. 16. The team’s cooks were officers Lt. Bacel Cantrell and Brandon Berkley.

Coming in second place was David Wilson, and third place was won by Ted Robertson.

Seven teams competed in the event that was held in conjunction with Breck Trade Days, and City of Breckenridge City Secretary Heather Robertson-Caraway said they hope to host it again next year.
