JoAnn Taylor, 69, passed from this life to the next on Monday, December 4, 2017. Graveside service with Chalres Kuhn officiating will be held on Saturday, December 9, 2017, at 10 a.m. at the Woodson Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Melton-Kitchens Funeral Home.

JoAnn Mason was born on May 14, 1948, in Dallas, Texas, to Fred Mason and Ozell Mitchell Mason. She had worked for Texas Instruments and as a bartender. She was married to Larry Cain. She came to Woodson from Longview a year ago.

She is survived by her husband, Larry Cain; son, Kevin Schrah of Dallas; and grandchild, Madison Schrah of Dallas. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, Billie Jean Callahan of Atlanta, Texas.
