Jacqulyne Sue Crook, 68, of Albany passed from this life to the next on Thursday, December 7, 2017, in Abilene. Graveside funeral service will be held Sunday, December 10, 2017, at 1 p.m. at the Necessity Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 9 to 11 a.m. Sunday. Arrangements are under the direction of Melton-Kitchens Funeral Home of Breckenridge.

Jacqulyne Sue Stephen was born on March 27, 1949, in Ranger, Texas, to Jack Stephen and Norma Jean Hadley Stephen. She married Jack Crook on January 27, 1967, in Stephens County, Texas. She worked as a cashier at Brookshire’s in Albany and was a member of the Church of God.

Survivors include her sons, Jack Crook and wife Leah of Conroe, Stacey Crook and wife Barbara of Leona, and Scott Crook and wife Tammy of Orange; daughter Lee Andrea Goble of Albany; brother, Burl D. Stephen and wife Colene of Katy; sisters, Armetta Jones of Breckenridge, Linda Young and husband Martin of Breckenridge, Latoria Coleman and husband Wayne of Bonham, Marzella Adamson of Sparks, Nevada, Nina Willeford and husband Walter of Amarillo, and Wanelda Johnson of Breckenridge; grandchildren, Jonathan Crook and wife Brayden of Centerville, Tiffany and Kevin Keck of Bridge City, Tatum Crook of Leona, Holly Crook and wife Winters of Orange, Collin Crook and fiancé Mackenzie Guillot of Seguin, Dusty Goble of Buffalo, Sha Lee Prater and husband Josh of Albany, and Ashley Goble of Albany; and great-grandchildren, Bailey, Zoey, Brenleigh, Madison, and Kynlee. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jack Crook; and a brother, Ernest Lee. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Hendrick Hospice Care, and they can be left at the funeral home.
