Saundra Dixon, 71, died Friday, November 24, 2017. Funeral service with Rev. Rex Boggs officiating will be held Monday, November 27, 2017, at 10 a.m. in the Melton-Kitchens Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow. Arrangements are under the direction of Melton-Kitchens Funeral Home.
Saundra Lois Coapland was born October 24, 1946, in Breckenridge, Texas, to Bernis Coapland and Bobbie Sims Coapland. She was a graduate of Weatherford High School. Saundra worked as a nurse at Dr. Nichols’ office and later as a bookkeeper for Lester Clark. She was a member of Gunsight Baptist Church, and the Lord was the focus of her life.
She is survived by her son, Jason Dixon and wife Andrea of Granbury; mother, Bobbie Coapland of Breckenridge; brothers, Glynn Coapland and wife Christie of Breckenridge and Dudley Coapland and wife Cindy of Amarillo; grandchildren, Rebecca, Reagan and Benjamin Dixon; and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to the Gunsight Baptist Church.
