Buckaroos headed to Brownwood for Bi-District Playoff
The Breckenridge High School varsity football team is traveling to Brownwood today to take on the Merkel Badgers in the 2017 Bi-District Playoff game. Kickoff is slated for 7:30 p.m. at Gordon Wood Stadium.
The community is showing lots of support and spirit for the team. At noon Thursday, parents, grandparents and other fans started a 24-hour spirit drumming on the corner of Walker Street and Breckenridge Avenue. They drummed all night long and throughout the morning until the buses with the Buckaroos left town.
