The Texas Department of Transportation’s Brownwood District has announced the appointment of Jeremy Robinson as the Maintenance Section Supervisor for Stephens County.

In the position, Robinson oversees TxDOT’s maintenance and emergency management activities on 267 miles of state-maintained roadways in the district’s northernmost county, including trade corridors such as US highways 180 and 183 and State Highway 67. Robinson supervises a staff of 10 employees based at TxDOT facilities located just east of the Breckenridge city limits.

Robinson grew up in Cisco and joined TxDOT’s Stephens County Maintenance Section after moving to Breckenridge in 2005. Robinson has worked his way up through the ranks, most recently serving as Assistant Maintenance Section Supervisor.

Robinson’s wife, Sylvia, is a Breckenridge native and is a fellow TxDOT employee, serving as office manager of the department’s Graham office, which is part of the Wichita Falls District. They have two daughters, Raegan, 9, and Reese, 4.

Robinson officially began his new role on Nov. 1.

TxDOT’s Brownwood District includes Brown, Coleman, Comanche, Eastland, Lampasas, McCulloch, Mills, San Saba and Stephens counties.
