Gary Welsh, Sr.

Gary Lynn Welsh, Sr., 67, went to be with our Lord on Saturday, Oct. 28, 2017.

He was born Feb. 10, 1950, to Tommy and Phyllis Welsh in Dallas, Texas. He was raised in Snyder, Texas. He lived in Odessa, Texas as a welder. The last seven years he has lived in Breckenridge, Texas.

He served in the Vietnam War as a Lance Corporal in The United States Marine Corp.

He was preceded in death by his father, Tommy Welsh and mother, Phyllis and his grandparents, Floyd and Elizabeth Welsh.

He was survived by three sons, Chad Welsh and wife Michelle of Snyder, Chris Welsh of Snyder and Gary Welsh and wife Wendy of Midland, Texas; two daughters, Bunni Niblett of Greenwood, Texas, and Buffie Herrera and husband Ramon of Snyder; 17 grandchildren; 10-great grandchildren; four brothers, Barry Welsh and wife Virginia of Breckenridge, Tommy Welsh and wife Dora of Snyder, Carry Welsh of Odessa and Mike Welsh and wife Linda of Longview; and many nieces and nephews and extended family.

Visitation will be Nov. 2, 2017, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Morehart Mortuary, 1101 W. Walker, Breckenridge, Texas. Graveside service will be at the Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Abilene Texas, Nov. 3, 2017, at 10 a.m., officiated by Ordained Minister Ramon Herrera.
