The Stephens County Sheriff’s Office has been hosting a first line supervisor class at the Law Enforcement Center this week. The Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service is providing the training that is mandatory for peace officers who are appointed to, or who will be appointed to, their first supervisory position.
Participants study topics in ethics, effective communication, leadership styles, counseling, planning and organizing and cultural diversity.
