Roxann Hinkle, age 64 of Graham, passed away Monday, Sept. 18, 2017. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 23 at Morehart Mortuary Chapel in Breckenridge with Pastor Nathan Barker, Pastor Larry Hooper and Dr. Van Gardner officiating. Interment will follow in the Murray Cemetery under the direction of Morehart Mortuary. Visitation will be held from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., Friday, Sept. 22 at Morehart Mortuary.
Roxann Louisa Young was born on Oct. 29, 1952, to parents John Franklin Young and Dorothy Miller Young in Hazelton, Pennsylvania. She graduated from Weatherly High School and attended college at Pillsbury Baptist Bible College. On July 20, 1973, Roxann married Herman Hinkle in Hazelton. She loved her family and especially loved being a grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Dorothy Young; and one daughter, Sarah Hinkle.
She is survived by her husband, Herman “Butch” Hinkle of Graham; five children, Herman “Butch, Jr.” Hinkle III and wife Jody of Albany, John A. Hinkle and wife Michelle of Buckhannon, West Virginia, Susan L. Hinkle of Weatherford, Paul F. Hinkle and wife Amy of Graham, and James Henry Hinkle and wife Kasey of Newbern, Tennessee; two brothers, Larry Young and Timothy Young, both of Weatherly, Pennsylvania; and 15 grandchildren.
