Breckenridge residents turned out in full force Friday evening to meet the Buckaroos.
The crowd gathered on the east side of the courthouse in downtown for the Meet the Bucks event. They cheered along with the Breckenridge High School Cheerleaders as members of the school’s football, volleyball and cross country teams and the Breckenridge High School “Pride of Breckenridge” Band were introduced.
During the event, the band played the school song, as well as other selections as the cheerleaders led the crowd in cheers.
Afterward, Buckshot, the school’s mascot, along with members of the sports teams, band and cheerleading squad, mingled with fans and posed for photos.
The annual event is sponsored by Mothers of Buckaroos.
