Rosemary Huestis Fambro, 94, passed from this life Wednesday, Aug. 23, 2017. Funeral service with Charles Kuhn officiating will be held Saturday, Aug. 26, 2017, at 10 a.m. in the Melton-Kitchens Funeral Home Chapel. A private interment will follow. Arrangements are under the direction of Melton-Kitchens Funeral Home.
Rosemary Huestis was born on June 22, 1923, in Cisco, Texas, to Paul Huestis and Mary Agnew Huestis. Rosemary attended and graduated from high school in Cisco in 1941. She married E.P. “Skeet” Fambro on March 8, 1942, in Cisco. She had worked as a hotel bookkeeper and later for Community Public Service. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, the Woman’s Forum, and the Garden Club. Rosemary enjoyed traveling and shopping, and caring for her cats and dogs.
Survivors include her husband, Skeet Fambro of Strawn; son, Paul Edd Fambro of Cedar Park; half-sister, Oleta Garvic of Olathe, Kansas; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents.
